1. Where can I buy Gibson products in my area?
Gibson products can be purchased in most major retail stores across the
United States. To locate a dealer
or store nearest you, call Gibson Customer Service at (323) 832-8900,
Monday through Friday, between 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM (PT).
|
2. Can I buy Gibson on-line?
www.gibsonusa.com does not offer e-commerce capabilities for our tabletop
merchandise. You can purchase any of our products through numerous on-line
retailers.
|
3. What happens if my Gibson pattern becomes
discontinued? Is it possible to obtain discontinued merchandise?
Ideally, we would love to make all of our designs and patterns available
to the public indefinitely. However, our inventory is
always being updated to coincide with market demand, so we must make room.
We are an everyday line with variety and newness. If you cannot find your
pattern or favorite design at your usual local retailer, we suggest
calling other stores in the area. You may also call (323) 832-8900 and a
customer service representative will assist you.
Also, if you would like to replace a broken piece in your set, you can
purchase new product by calling customer service and we will check the
warehouse for your pattern. If it is available, we will send you an order
form.
If you would like to add to your current set, call customer service and we
will direct you to the closest retailer.

7. Flatware: When I'm setting the table, where
do I put the different pieces?
A five-piece place setting consists of a dinner fork, salad fork, dinner
knife, teaspoon and dinner/soupspoon. At the left of the plate, working
outward, should be the dinner fork and then the salad fork. At the right
of the plate, working outward, should be the knife, with the sharp edge
toward the plate, then the teaspoon. If soup or pasta is being served, the
dinner/soupspoon can either be placed between the knife and teaspoon, or
above the plate, with the handle towards the right, or it should be served
with the soup.

8. I'm looking for flatware to match my Gibson
pattern. What is available?
At the moment, Gibson is working hard to design new flatware to match many
current dinnerware lines. We have been getting away from the generic
flatware packaging that many other companies use, and have instead,
started picturing flatware with matching dinnerware on our gift boxes.
|
9. Does Gibson adhere to all Federal guidelines
required for tabletop products?
Yes. Our entire product line is FDA approved and meets the lead level
requirements.
|
10. I broke one piece in my dinnerware set.
